A Fordyce man died after his car struck a utility pole in Desha County early Friday morning. Feaster Rideout Jr., 58, of 922 Moore St., was headed north on First Street in McGehee about 6:36 a.m. when his vehicle “crossed over the cent erline and struck a telephone pole,” according to Arkansas State Police fatal crash reports.
