Acres of land rich in rare plant life north of Beaver Lake will become the 71st designated natural area in Arkansas. The land purchase was approved Tuesday by the Arkansas Natural Heritage Commission in a cooperative agreement with the Arkansas Field Office of The Nature Conservancy.
